Wow and that was another great evening, very different from yesterday, but very special!
Vredenburg is this awesome place with great acoustics with seats al the way to the sealing in a carre form.
we were there early and after some shopping we got us some Mac(yes again) and had a great time waiting in front of the door to open.
when they let us inside they wanted to check my bag,so i got delayed but thanks to Bianca en karin(Thanks Girls!) we still had seats on the front row on Pat`s side this time.
They started of with Family tree and after that a very nice setlist(which i will post later on),different than yesterday, but very well adjusted to the Vredenburg.
Language went totaly ok this time  and when Kipp said were gonna play a garage demo song i`d already know i was gonna cry.
i always do at The only love i had.I said it to Kipp afterwards and he said he just had to sing and think of nothing otherwise he would cry too.
It was so awesome to see and hear the whole Vredenburg sing we`re still here and stand and clap and jump on One quiet day and If i were you.
But with that song came also the end of the show.
i got a setlist and we went in line for the meet and greet and we were so surprised to finaly see the golden record for the 2 metersessies
made some pics of it,but they are still on my camera.
at first btw we weren`t allowed to take any,but at the end we got the permission to take pics during the first three songs and that was o.k,so now i could fully enjoy the show.
well i had my setlist sighned and ofcourse congratulated them witg the golden record.
Got a realy, realy warm hug from Jamie :o: and my girlfriend hopefuly made some nice pics.
We just sat there for a while watching everybody go by,but after meeting up with Jacq and friends we had to go home.
Im out of puppiesitters so i can`t go to Weert, but monday in Haarlem i will be there.

I can honestly say that I was there!
I’m not going to write a whole review here, cuz I’m just not good at those things.
I will say I had a great time, and more importantly, my parents had a great time as well. Which makes me feel even more happier.
For sure I will try to get tickets for one of the performances of the theatre tour.
Hopefully I will see you all there and we’ll have another good time!
Thanks to the guys of Venice!
I do think you’ve got another fan now (guess who ;-) )

Hi everyone,
Thanks to those of you who wrote the early reviews. How on earth can you do that immediately after a concert! I'm always too tired and the next day there always seems so be so much to do, with the kids and all, especially today. My mother had fallen and hurt herself badly, so we've done her shopping and I've been playing nurse for a while today. I hope she will feel better soon, but I'm afraid it will take some time. :(
Anyway, finally a moment for myself to write down my thoughts about last night. And some night it was!!!
After hearing all the enthusiastic stories about Baden Baden and de Melkweg, we were very much looking forward to the concert in Vredenburg Utrecht.
The start of the evening was fun already, seeing so many familiar faces and talking to our Venice friends again has become a very pleasant part of the show. It's worth coming early for, although it's always hard to leave home in time.
As everybody has already said, the guys were really great in Utrecht. So much energy and love for the fans, it's just wonderful to be a part of such a show.
Off course we wanted to meet and greet them afterwards, because it was our only concert this time and Frans had made a special picture for them to sign. He mixed a picture of the guys and us on the cruise and some cruise memories. He was very proud of it and wanted to show it to everyone who was standing in line (and we had plenty of time I can tell you that). Which gave a hilarious situation, people begging to see it  while Frans made the picture flash out of the big envelope some seconds and put it back again ..... and flash out .... anyway, did I tell you we had to wait a while? ;) We stepped in line at 22.45 and could speak to the guys a couple of minutes after midnight. I don't think we ever waited that long, but for us it was no problem, the company was fun and we had no train to catch. Big compliments to all of the guys, they took their time for every fan, which IMO is great after the show they've given us.
After a nice chat, signing of our picture, handing over some presents, I walked on and waited for Frans, who took his time talking to Pat (it seemed). Suddenly, Frans was on my left and Pat on my right, saying "Hi, I have a present for you". I had no idea what was coming, must have looked ever so stupid (any difference?) and saw Frans smiling. Pat had a plastic bag and took out one of his beautiful handmade boxes. For me, he said and handed it over.
WOW!!! I didn't know what to say. Ever since I'd heard of the boxes, I wished I could have one, they are so beautiful. Frans knew that and organized this surprise, mailing for weeks with Matt and Pat to get this done. He even opened a special hotmail account for it, so I wouldn't notice anything. Isn't he something?
So now I'm the very proud owner of a handmade wooden box by Mr. Patrick H. Lennon.
Thank you so much Pat, for doing this, it made this evening very special. And thanks to all of you guys, Kipp, Mike, Mark, Pat, Mark, Nick, Jamie, Pete and Frans this time (the best hubby in the world) for yet another fabulous Evening with Venice.
Love you all!

Am I brave enough to say that this concert topped the one at Paradiso in 2002? Aiiii...I don't think I am, but DAMN! This one came very close.:)
Together with Kristy and Michelle for Cal., Ilana and my sister Nelly, I spend the day in my hometown. Ate at my place and after that took off to Amsterdam and Utrecht, for the Vredenburg concert. Nelly stayed behind, due to her illness, so my other sister tagged along at the last minute. A Venice-Virgin, my dear friends. (But what a terrible slang btw. Who made that up anyway?)
I had never been to Vredenburg, so I was very exited and all. We came in rather late because we missed the bus to Amsterdam, but we got some pretty good seats, even after waving at Miety who yelled my name through the entire venue and me (:o:)pointing that I'd be right there.
And so I met her, Marina, Eric and her brother for the first time. Finally!
And the show...you wouldn't believe that show. The sound cristal-clear, the band was in tiptop shape en we had a crowd straight from venue-heaven.:) This crowd didn't suffer from lack of convidence because as soon as the first fast song was played, the people jumped up and danced.
What also made a big impression was the way Pat sang "Language of the Heart" and got a standing ovation. Same happend with the other members of the band. Very emotional but the tears came, fairly unexpected for me, at this particular moment in the show.
They were doing their encore and Mark started "Think Again". He did it so powerful and at such a high energylevel, the crowd went wild as the band burst into sound and then (they did it once before in show) the lighting people turned on the normal lights of the venue, so we AND the band could see what was going on. When I looked behind me, I saw all the people on the balconies stand up, arms up, clapping, all the way up to the ceiling.
I just burst out into tears and couldn't talk for 10 minutes:) So very, very, very awesome.
So you can imagine it was one of best concerts Venice has ever did and this evening will be a loving memory to last a lifetime. So thank you Venice, Michelle, Kristy, Ilana and Liesbeth.
Greetings from Jo.
