I know, I know, it's not the same as a concert, but didn't really know where to post it else.
Just seen the guys in Assen, it was good fun!
Unfortunately they were an hour late, but there were lots of people, more than they expected.
There was a really tiny stage, that could just about fit the complete band!! Cool!
They played Think Again, Father Time, Welcome to the rest of your life and If I were you, it was nice to hear an "older" song as well. We shouted for more, but they were on a timeschedule because of the concert in Leeuwarden tonight, if they had some more time they would go on and on as Kipp mentioned.
Nice of them to take their time signing loads of stuff from all the fans. So finally I have a cd inlay signed by them and I also had one signed for my (lazy) brother, he owes me big time, hihi :D
Glad I didn't miss this one, thank you very much Venice!!
:bowing:
Everyone in Leeuwarden..... have fun tonight!!
:D

This is a real low-quality compilation of some pix I took this afternoon (I don't want your computers to download for ages), however; if you want better quality jpegs, feel free to mail me!

The mini-concert was really nice, the boys were great!
But...there was a man with a camera who was really rude..that spoiled it a little bit for us.
We were standing there (and didn.t move) at 13.20 so we waited for 1,5 hours (hot, crowded) before the guys started playing. When they played for about 2 minutes a man pushed me away and stood in front of me (he came from the back) because he was important....he had a camera. I asked nicely 'mister could you give me some space please', but I didn't get any response. So people behind me signed me I had to give him a little push...and I did, just a little one. And he got mad: at me and my boyfriend!
He even looked like he wanted to fight with my boyfriend. Even Pat was looking what happened over there.
I was very sad, mad, dissapointed and I wondered why some people don't have any manners.
Normally all Venetians are so polite!!!
It spoiled an afternoon. Looked forward to it all week.
Thanks mister camera.

No kidding!!
That's awful. He couldn't have been a Venice fan, could he? I did not notice it, where were you standing??

And Rene, did not see you, but looking at the top right picture you were really close, the guy on the right (with the very short dark hair and the eh how should I say this nicely....bald spot... is my boyfriend Erik and I was standing just in front of him, you can see a tiny bit of my purple shawl.
Were you by any chance the guy with the little girl on his shoulders? In that case, I did not recognize you.

Su,
I did not want to say it...... but maybe he was the one??
Nooo, that can't be true, Rene is a shy guy, he would never behave this rude!!:nono:
(If it was him, I think we should have a little talk with his wife Jolanda....:D :D )
So...how's married life treatening you Rene???:D

Oh come on, you guys: you're embarrasing me here... I'm blushing here behind my PC (honest!) :o

Anywayz; I definately wasn't that rude camera-guy; I behaved like a good and decent guy and asked a few people to move aside for a sec, so I could take my pix... Had no trouble at all...

And ehhhmm... A little girl on my shoulder? Didn't notice it... ;)

But maybe you saw me, cause I wandered around quite a bit... I even came across a big mirror, and there I couldn't resist:

But no, I don't see a little kid either.....
I had a totally different person in mind.

Now that you mention it.... I had not noticed it, maybe he changed clothes, because when I saw him/her she was wearing a little dress....(now that would be a nice picture....okay, that's enough, I will behave myself..... I won't think about the guys wearing dresses and hairy legs and ....oh no, my imagination is running wild again, help....!!):D

We Had to be in Balkbrug saterday and because Assen was only a 35 minutes drive we could`nt resist going there and yess they were al litle bit late, but that was due to the traffic.
I loved hearing and seeing them there and it was fun while waiting meeting and talking to the people around us.
Afterwards had the new single singned fot myself and for a friend on who`s invitation i could go to the secret concert.
My friend Marjo has seen them for the second time and now has the Venicevirus too :)
Now i`ve only slept for 4,5 hours but am realy looking forward to Bnn this afternoon

It definitely wasn't Rene. I did see him though!
Ofcourse a person with a camera may pass for a while when he asks polite or stands in front as long as we do, but this was...yugh.
