Virtual Venice Cafe goes Off-Forum

Dear Fellow-Fans.

We have been talking for awhile now in our Virtual Venice Cafe, the place where people who visit the forum can have a chat and most importantly, have a drink without getting drunk.

We have been dancing to all kinds of imaginary music and it is fun, but wouldn't it be more fun to do it in real life sometime?
Sunny and I first started talking about this, first in a funny mood, later more seriously. And we want you to join us.

The plan is to meet in a more central place, like Utrecht. A date is something we have to work out with whom ever wants to come along. Suggestions are welcome!

And now while I got your attention: Lets give a hand to our Su2000, who got the genius idea to start a Cafe!

Never expected this thread to be so succesfull. I'm so very happy so many people of VeniceTalk want to take part in this! This will be so much fun!

And so let me open a new discussion: are we willing, or capable, to do this before Hardenberg, or does anyone want to wait untill all the "Venice-Vestifities" are over? And do you guys want to go on a Saturday or a Sunday? That may be important for those who work on these days. (:) )

Think about it and let me know.

Don't let this next step in the process of going out, stop anyone from joining in. The deadline's when the real cafe turns off the music, puts the lights on and kicks us out.:D

Hi all,

Utrecht will be the most central place, but that's just my opinion, any other suggestions are welcome. And to be honoust, traveling from Volendam to Utrecht and back again doesn't sound appealing to me either. (Picture this: me, 21, on Utrecht Central station, all alone.. :eek: :( ), so I'm considering staying there overnight. So if anyone is capable to do so also, remember you're probably not the only one.

Hi all,

I think bringing agenda's to concerts is a pretty good idea anyway. There's going to a bunch of us at almost every concert. Suggestions brought up at every concert can be taken to the next et cetera. Think human chain...
I'm pretty sure we can come up with some good suggestions this way, and I really would like to say this doesn't have to be a one time event. I' would like to think of this as the beginning of a new way to get together as Venice fans and friends.:)

An oezerie is a place where you get together and have something to eat and drink. In the meanwhile, you can chit-chat as much as you want.
It's a Greek thing, something like a tapaz-bar which is Spanish.
The food is great.

Hahaha.....well we'll drink a lot to keep warm...we can keep eachother warm and besides...we have a heater in our caravan.
Evelien's birthday is on April 7th. Last year we could sit outside....the weather was fantastic!!! So we have hope for this year too.... Thanks for worrying though! We'll see when it's April, if the weather is really bad we can always go to a hotel.

I already started the good work. During your BBQ, I have the whole evening planned out. I'm planning to post the whole evening in the sea with my fishingnet. To get an headstart on storing food for the next meeting. Need all the jumpstarts I can get with all the hungry Venice-people.;)

There's something sh*tty about this day, I have the flew (started on thursday) and I'm doubting whether I can go. Was sick all yesterday, brrrr, had a fever and all, but I want to go so badly. So I'm trying to ignore that feeling in my back, head, ears and throat and join you guys anyway. Hope I'm not going to make you sick as well. :(

Sure hope to be there, I have to decide in a couple of hours when Frans is back from a soccer match with Floris and I'm supposed to drive off. Gonna take some aspirins till then.

Fever is in the air, Helga:( Last week i had it :mad:and couldn't work. But missin' the BBQ by being ill is much more worst.So taking those aspirines is the only thing to do. Hope you get well on time ;) And as for the rest of you Forum addicts:biggrin: Behave and have fun!
