Hi everybody,

Some of us were talking about the wars which maybe will come. It scares me a lot and like other people said before, what can we do to change the world. My mom always says to me, when you want to change something, start with yourself. So here you can tell everybody what you can and want to do to keep peace in this world.

I'll start.

I'm trying to teach my son to love everyone for what and who they are. Never tease other children with their looks, cause maybe they do it to you too and that hurts. I also try to convince him of the fact that he always can be honoust to me. I want him to tell me when he did something and then I will not get angry (mostly:D ) I tell him he better can be honoust to me instead of lying. When he's honoust he will not get punished, when he's lying he will be punished. I also learn him not to throw things on the street, never! When he has something to get rid off, than put in your pocket till you can throw it away in a carbage can. I also try to teach him not to start a fight.

I hope he'll try to live his life truly and that he will not have to live in fear and war.

I think it's very important parents raise their kids in a responsible way. I think the ' modern way' to raise a kid is BAD BAD BAD. I see it everywhere: parents treating their kids as if they' re little adults, they spoil them and don't teach them to respect others. Kids need to be treated as kids, they need the feeling someone cares about them, even if this means they're not allowed to do certain things.

I think another important issue is the way people loose themselves in this hectic world. Many people don't take enough time to enjoy 'simple things' , I think. Not long ago, I looked up to a sky, covered with stars and I thought 'wow, this is so beautiful'. Then I thought about the last time I stood still to look to the sky. It had been so long ago! I walk in the forest about 5 times a week. But most of the time I don't even look around me. Most of the time I think about my work, my relation, my bills etc. I think some people might recognize this problem.

So I think people should enjoy the 'simple things' in life more. Look up to the sky and feel the power of the universe. Just feel good and when you feel good, other people can feel the positive energy.

Always think about, but more importantly, enjoy the beautiful blessings in your life ..
the rest will fall into place ..

Craig, i couldn't have said it better;) I totally agree with you. I know there are some very bad things going on and there always will be. But life is short, so we must enjoy the good things we have and make sure that it's not our fault when things go wrong. You can only do that by believing in your own idea's. And not by believing in someone with very bad idea's. Like i don't believe in Bush:mad: `But unfortunately Bush is not the only one with a twisted mind:( I believe in myself and i hope that one day if i have childern, they will do so too!:lecture:(i'm serious, though)

this is the world that we live in
this is the life we were given

we have dreams to feed our ambition
we know guilt through our own admission

there is pain to make us grow
repetition to see. faith to show

the wrongs we do are ours to undo
no one can solve your problems but you

what we think is often not what we mention
so why judge the action, and not the intention?

I walk through life and all I see
is my world won't change until I change me

all I can do is my own part
all I can give is love from the heart
and for that I always need to be
my number one priority

not only do we get what we deserve
we get what we can handle
look at the heap on your plate
and see what faith God has in you
